About Us
RHCNS is housed in the Rocky Hill Municipal Building
Located in historic Rocky Hill, New Jersey, RHCNS is fully certified, non-profit and non-sectarian.
For more than 50 years, parents and teachers have worked together to create this very special pre-school community for Rocky Hill, Montgomery, Princeton, Hillsborough, Hopewell, Kendall Park, Kingston, Franklin, South Brunswick and surrounding areas.
We aim to provide a play-based preschool experience that emphasizes family, community and exploration. Hands-on experiences and field trips help provide a developmentally appropriate education.
A happy first school experience is our main priority. We focus on preparing children to be socially, emotionally and intellectually ready for Kindergarten.
Reading Center
Our parents volunteer their time and talent to coordinate all administrative aspects of the nursery school. Cooperation is demonstrated by example and emphasized in the classroom. Our students understand the value of working together and develop respect for the different strengths and talents that we all possess – teachers, parents and children alike.
RHCNS is the first preschool to be River-Friendly certified by The Watershed Institute. 
There is a strong incorporation of nature and environmental themes woven into our curriculum year-round.

You will be asked to make an account with Brightwheel. There is no application fee.
For 2025-26, tuition is $4,600 for the 3-day program and $5,800 for the 4-day program.
Your child may attend school either three or four days a week depending on their age and the option you choose. Three-year-olds can be enrolled in a 3-day or 4-day program. Pre-Ks have a 4-day program. Please see the below chart for our program options by the week.
